Isolated to scattered showers and storms remain in the forecast through midweek.

However, the severe risk is very low.CLEVELAND, Ohio - After a rainy start to Memorial Day, the afternoon trends drier. While isolated showers or even a storm may still pop, the overall coverage is low. Expect a partly cloudy sky with high temperatures reaching the mid 70s. It will be quite breezy with a west wind between 15 and 20 mph, occasionally gusting up to 30 mph.

Other than a stray shower or two rolling off Lake Erie, Monday night stays dry under a partly cloudy sky. The wind continues to be from the west at 15 to 20 mph. Expect scattered showers and perhaps a few storms Tuesday and Wednesday under a partly cloudy sky. High temperatures rise to the low 70s on Tuesday but only to the mid 60s Wednesday. Tuesday stays breezy, so the rip current risk remains high along all Northeast Ohio beaches.

The pattern finally changes starting on Thursday with stunning weather through the start of the weekend. Expect abundant sunshine Thursday through Saturday with high temperatures in the 70s on Thursday and Friday and back near 80 degrees on Saturday. The humidity stays quite low. A few showers return to the forecast Saturday night into Sunday with high temperatures in the low 80s Sunday afternoon.
