North Texas groups raising money to combat child hunger.

Money will be raised online and through the Compassionate DFW Hunger Project 2022 on Sunday, Sept. 11, from noon to 5 p.m. at the East Plano Islamic Center, 4700 14th St., Plano. The money will be donated to local food banks and food pantries to help feed hungry families in Richardson and Plano.A donation of $17.50 will provide 50 meals and $35 will cover 100 meals, although any donation amount is appreciated, organizers said.or via mail to Compassionate DFW, P.O.
