The day I visited, Dr. Tiffany Tobaben was overseeing a team whose surgeries included repairing a young cat’s fractured leg and cleaning wounds and redoing sutures of animals whose first surgeries were done elsewhere.
One-year-old Benson, recovering from a leg amputation and subsequent surgeries, is corralled by Operation Kindness chief veterinarian Dr. Tiffany Tobaben. In addition to its own intakes and adoptions, since early July, Operation Kindness has helped another 6,000 dogs and cats through new community initiatives.
Jamison’s plans also include opening a second location in southern Dallas that would offer free and low-cost vet services as well as serve as a hub for many of the community initiatives.
