Yalrick Zeonsha Pride, 23, was found guilty of felony murder in the blunt force trauma death of Kaiden Garner.
Authorities initially suspected 3-year-old Kaiden Garner died from heat exposure after being left in a hot car in Florence in August 2020, but further investigation determined his death was caused by blunt force trauma.
Kaiden’s father, 23-year-old Blake Joshwell Townsend, was charged with capital murder in the toddler’s death.
