Six children and a driver were on the bus when it was struck by a bullet, according to troopers, who said they closed their investigation after determining the incident was non-criminal.

The incident occurred just after 4:30 p.m. Friday in a residential area around Seldon Road, troopers spokesman Austin McDaniel said in an email Saturday. “None of the juveniles on the bus or the driver were struck by the bullet or injured in any way,” troopers said in the report.
