Sony's TriStar Pictures has officially named Nicole Brown president of the studio label.
Last year, Brown was appointed to head TriStar Pictures as executive vice president, after former head Hannah Minghella left to head motion pictures at J.J. Abram's Bad Robot.
Brown will continue to report to motion picture group chairman Tom Rothman.The Woman KingBrown, who sits on the board of Women in Film, has recent credits that include TriStar titles
