.Nickelback is set to play on Sept. 16 at oakmtnamp in Pelham, promoter RedMountainEnt announced on Thursday. The bill also includes brantleygilbert and asnellofficial.
Nickelback, formed in the mid-1990s, reached its greatest fame in the 2000s with albums such as “Silver Side Up” , “The Long Road” , “All the Right Reasons” and “Dark Horse” . The band became known for hit singles including “How You Remind Me,” “Someday,” “Photograph,” “Rockstar” and more.
Nickelback has performed in the Birmingham area in the past, appearing in 2006 at the BJCC Arena and in 2009 at Oak Mountain .Although Nickelback has achieved mainstream success, the band has been ain the music world. Fans cheer for Nickelback with enthusiasm; detractors slam the music as mediocre, derivative or deeply uncool.
