Barring extraordinary circumstances, Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson almost surely isn't getting benched in 2024.

The Browns acquired Watson via trade with the Houston Texans in March 2022, surrendering a substantial amount of draft capital and handing Watson a fully guaranteed $230 million contract upon landing him.

As a result, some feel that Watson may not have too long of a leash this season, especially with Jameis Winston waiting in the wings.shut down the notion that the team could potentially bench Watson.
