The next debate between Trump and Biden will be held virtually after the president's COVID diagnosis and White House outbreak

WASHINGTON — The next presidential debate will be remote to"protect the health and safety of all involved" amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Commission on Presidential Debates announced Thursday morning.

Trump, who tested positive for COVID-19 last week, said he would still take part in the debate. Asked about the safety of the debate after Trump's COVID-19 diagnosis, Biden told reporters Tuesday,"I think if he still has COVID, we shouldn’t have a debate."
