This Maserati-specific architecture will reportedly underpin all future models of the Italian brand. While the platform is also compatible with Maserati’s V6 Nettuno engine, the Quattroporte will reportedly go EV-only. The same is rumored for the next-gen Levante SUV that’s set to arrive in 2025, one year after the sedan.
With a rumored price tag close to £150k , the new Maserati Quattroporte Folgore is expected to be positioned against the high-spec variants of theand the Mercedes-AMG EQS. While EVs like the Tesla Model S Plaid and the Lucid Air Saphire will probably offer better outright performance for the price, Maserati is a more premium brand, targeting buyers who want a higher level of exclusivity.
