Women can drive cultural change by wielding economic power wisely
Much of that is because most of that wealth transfer is concentrated in the hands of a select few, while women continue to dominate occupations like nursing, dental assistants, cashiers, and elementary or middle school education where significant wage gaps exist. Despite this herky-jerky movement, it’s important to recognize this for what it is…progress.
But women must also take ownership of this cycle and leverage these advances – whether incremental or seismic – to stitch them together into concerted wealth building efforts that will give them more control over our collective destinies. Economic parity will deliver social parity.
