The new Chick-fil-A is expected to open in late 2022 or early 2023. It’ll be the only one in downtown Dallas or Uptown Dallas, because the existing Chick-fil-A in the tunnels underneath Renaissance Tower will eventually close.The design of the restaurant will be “unique to D-FW,” Bascomb says, because it’ll be similar to Chick-fil-As in major city centers like Manhattan and different in style to the freestanding, drive-through-heavy restaurants most people are accustomed to in D-FW.
