A Nebraska man who sent lewd and threatening messages to a San Antonio social media influencer — and then showed up in Texas with ropes, tape and sex toys — has been sentenced to five years in prison. John Alexander Klotz , 31, pleaded guilty in April to a charge of cyberstalking. Klotz was sentenced Thursday to five years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release with GPS monitoring, according to the U.S. District Attorney's Office for the Western District of Texas .

FBI agent Landon Maroney testified in 2022 that Klotz messaged Lynn that “he said at 12 years old he knew he was a killer, and at 14 he was able to take those urges away by doing other activities.' Lynn became alarmed and saved screenshots of Klotz’s messages, Maroney said.
How a Hill Country city is attacking its housing shortage An FBI search of Klotz's luggage found a duffel bag filled with silk ties, duct tape, electrical tape, rope, condoms and a multitude of sex toys, Maroney said. Klotz also had examination gloves, lubricant and benzocaine, a local anesthetic, in powder form and five books on bondage. Klotz also sent similar messages to two other Black Rifle Coffee influencers, according to Maroney.
