Amen and Ausar Thompson became the first twin brothers to become top 10 selections in the NBA Draft.
Amen and Ausar Thompson took an unconventional route, but their final destination was determined within moments of each other Thursday night in the NBA Draft.
“I’m super excited,” Ausar said during his television interview. “I’ve never seen anything like this. It feels like making history with Amen.” In 2008, Stanford post Brook Lopez was taken at No. 10 by the New Jersey Nets, with Robin, also of Stanford, going at No. 15 to Phoenix.
