Fifty years later, National Chicken Finger Day will celebrate that legacy by putting free chicken fingers in the hands of the masses. Also, from Saturday through July 30, members of the chain’s loyalty club will received one free chicken finger, priced $2.09 at the Mira Mesa location, with no purchase necessary. The national chain, with nine locations throughout San Diego County, has given away more than 150,000 chicken fingers to date, according to a news release.
The Homestyle Pancake Mix has flaxseed, sweet potato, spinach and other vegetables, and delivers vitamins A, B, C, D and E, according to a news release. The Triple Play Chocolate Cookies include oats, pea protein and other vegetable nutrients. The Slow Cooked Italian Marinara mixes kidney beans, spinach and carrots into the tomatoes and basil.
