Special prosecutor Nathan Wade's team intervened during an interview after he was asked about the timeline of his romantic relationship with Fani Willis, the district attorney prosecuting Donald Trump's Georgia election interference case.Wade was forced to resign from the case in mid-March after his relationship with Willis was revealed. Judge Scott McAfee, overseeing Trump's case, ruled there was no conflict of interest but Willis could only remain on it if Wade quit.
In the new interview, CNN's Kaitlan Collins asked Wade: 'Just to clarify, when did the romantic relationship between the two of you start?'Wade began to reply: 'We get into... there's been this effort to say that these exact dates are at issue, and these exact dates are... I'm getting, I'm getting signaled here.
