NASCAR Truck Series driver Jordan Anderson airlifted with burns after terrifying fire.

NASCAR Truck Series driver Jordan Anderson has been airlifted after a fiery crash in today's Truck Series race at Talladega Superspeedway. Anderson was taken first to the track's infield care center before being taken directly to a hospital in Birmingham by helicopter.

Anderson's truck was on fire by the time Fox cameras caught it spinning on track, continuing both on fire and out of control for about ten seconds before finally crashing into an infield wall. Anderson had already undone his belts shortly before the actual impact, preparing to evacuate the truck as quickly as possible. His truck hit the wall at a low speed while he was already in the process of exiting, allowing him to immediately climb out over the nearby SAFER barrier.
