Bret Holmes Racing has announced an immediate closure of its operations. The team, a fixture in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, revealed that they would not participate in the series for the remainder of the current 2024 season. With this decision, driver and team owner Bret Holmes now finds himself a free agent.Formed with the primary goal of succeeding in stock car racing, the team had successfully captured an ARCA Menards Series championship in 2020.
'The departure of key personnel, such as Mike Shiplett, former crew chief now with Niece Motorsports, also contributed to BHR's closure.
