Chase Elliott's racing team, Hendrick Motorsports, announced a significant sponsorship shift this Tuesday, revealing Coca-Cola as the new primary backer for Elliott's No. 9 Chevrolet in the upcoming Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway. This change comes after Hendrick Motorsports ended its contract with Hooters last month, citing the company's failure to meet business obligations.
A lot can happen in that period of time. I think it's going to force all of us to be really good. You're going to have to be really solid and you're probably going to have to win a race or two between now and the end of it to have a legitimate chance without other guys having problems. I don't really see four or five guys having issues between now and then, not all of them at least.
