Several police officers were dispatched to downtown Naperville Saturday night after a large crowd of about 150 people began causing disturbances, police said.

The incident occurred about 10:20 p.m. in the area of Jackson Avenue and Main Street, with mostly teens and young adults blocking roadways and causing disturbanced, police Cmdr. Michaus Williams said.Numerous citations were issued to pedestrians who were in the streets and one person was arrested after attempting to flee from being issued a citation, Williams said.

They were charged with aggravated resisting arrest.captures the scene, showing what appears to be mostly teenagers and young adults hanging out on the sidewalks and spreading into the streets, with some shouting “Black lives matter.”There was no property damage associated with the incident and one police officer received a minor injury while making the arrest, reports said.
