Three teenagers have been charged in the killing and robbing of a taxi driver on Thursday night, Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald said. The three males, a 14 and 13-year-old from Somerset and a 13-year-old from New Brunswick, were arrested on Friday after an investigation identified them as the suspects, officials said.
Police responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting near Rose Street and Sydney Place in Franklin Township at 9:56 p.m., authorities said. Officers located the taxi, which had crashed into a vehicle parked in the driveway of a residence, prosecutors said.
