Anthony Reciofigeroa killed a 19-year-old man in Elizabeth in the summer of 2019, authorities said.
Anthony Reciofigeroa, 28, of Jersey City will have to spend 46 years and nine months in state prison before he is eligible for parole, the, of Elizabeth, on the 500 block of East Jersey Street around 7 p.m on July 6, 2019, authorities said. Rodriguez died of his injuries the following day at an area hospital.
At his June trial, testimony showed Reciofigueroa came to Elizabeth about 30 minutes before the shooting in a black car with Vermont license plates, authorities said. Witnesses testimony along with physical evidence and video surveillance in the area, which captured the shooting, “were able to definitively pinpoint Reciofigueroa as the killer,” the prosecutor’s office said.
