In today’s world, you are either a “progressive” or a “conservative.” There are no “Progressive Conservatives” left, as Manitoba’s election results would suggest. The PCs put up campaign billboards stating: “Stand Firm Against the $184 million landfill dig.” It referenced the call from First Nations to excavate a landfill near Winnipeg where the bodies of missing and murdered aboriginal women and girls are believed to have been dumped.
