Local influencer and DJ MsPuiyi has been pretty busy since the start of 2024. The 26-year-old has been touring around lately, showing off her DJ skills around
Southeast Asia. However, the public figure recently shared one update to her life that piqued netizens’ attention.
On 16th April , MsPuiyi suddenly released a notice on her social media accounts. The notice was for an upcoming press conference regarding a civil and criminal lawsuit filed by the influencer, whose real name is Siew Pui Yi. According to the notice, the press conference is scheduled for 22nd April at the Penang High Court.Also included in the notice is the contact information for the Artiste Brand Director for MsPuiyi’s management team and the lawyer in charge of the lawsuit.
Naturally, the post garnered tons of attention from netizens, most of whom were puzzled by MsPuiyi’s lawsuit announcement. While many questioned who the influencer was suing, they still extended their well wishes to MsPuiyi, hoping everything would go smoothly for her. However, some netizens were sceptical about the notice, wondering if it was a publicity stunt. Some also criticised the DJ, saying she shouldn’t publicise private matters like a potential lawsuit.
