Ms. Marvel directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah teased their potential return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“We’re waiting for The Marvels, so that will decide what the next step will be,” said El Arbi. “So we’re very much looking forward to that. I can’t wait to see it, man. It’s great to see the trailers and to see the whole family back there and Iman Vellani doing great work, so looking forward to that.”Newcomer Iman Vellani made her acting debut in Disney+’s Ms. Marvel series, where she portrayed the role of Kamala Khan.
“Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence,” reads the synopsis for The Marvels. “But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece Captain Monica Rambeau.
