People in Saskatchewan should be able to get the care they need when they need it, and it’s unfair for Kakoske to be in this position, NDP MLA Matt Love said during question period. Waitlists for just about everything she needs start at six months, and while there is financial support from the government for parents, there’s not much a parent can do if the services they need don’t exist or can’t be accessed.“Time, energy, losing work” are byproducts of the system, Kakoske added.
