Owners of convenience stores near Court Street and South Boulevard said it’s the same people robbing the stores. “It’s six to eight people out there,” said Muhammad Sikndr, owner of Liberty gas station. “They’re a group.” Sikndr said they had contacted Montgomery police, but said the suspects had already left with an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise by the time officers arrived.The owners are pleading with police to increase patrolling in the area at night to discourage criminal activity, adding if something doesn’t change, they may have to do business elsewhere.
