For the past three weeks, she's been in a rehab center getting sober.Tabbatha had a job, insurance, a newborn, and a meth habit."You hate yourself for it when you're on it, but also, you're not thinking about yourself when you're on it," Maxwell said. She was told by a fellow user if she had fentanyl in her system she'd have a better chance of getting admitted to a recovery program.

"I'd never done it before," Maxwell said."You feel like either I'm gonna die or I'm gonna get well. I guess it's a 50-50 shot.""We have kids, we have families, and now we have hope," Maxwell said. "We have people who would like to seek drug treatment through other programs who aren't able to get into the treatment," said Geoffrey Thomas, Monroe mayor."This means a lot to our community.
