This weekend, May 4-5, the Animal Services Department will be open for visitations, adoptions and fostering appointments between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. These pets would love to find forever homes, but even temporary fostering makes a big impact. Fostering helps protect young puppies from communal illnesses and frees up space for other dogs with greater needs. More than 50 puppies are currently available for adoption and fostering.
Approved adopters can receive a free 4-pound bag of Natural Balance food along with a $100 gift card toward any supplies needed for their shelter pet. These offers are made possible by great community partners like the Animal Rescue Foundation, Friends of the Mobile Animal Shelter, and B&B Pet Shop. Local TikTok star Ophelia "Mama Tot" Nichols has also personally sponsored the adoption of two dogs.
