SINGAPORE: A migrant worker who died on April 18, 2023, after falling six metres through a lift shaft in Ion Orchard was drunk while doing welding work, a coroner’s court has found.

KOTA TINGGI: An oil tanker and a cargo ship were detained by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency for anchoring illegally off Johor last Sunday .

“The first to be detained was the Sierra Leone-registered cargo ship at 13.5 nautical miles east of Tanjung Penawar around 11am,’’ he said in a statement. In the second incident, he said the Comoros-registered oil tanker was detained nine nautical miles southeast of Tanjung Balau near here.
