Toronto Blue Jays pitcher, Anthony Bass, is receiving backlash for a recent tweet about United Airlines.
However, a number of people were not sympathetic to the “plight” hehow Toronto Blue Jays pitcher, Anthony Bass, tweeted a picture this past Sunday of his two children sitting in their seats during the aforementioned United flight.
“The flight attendant @united just made my 22 week pregnant wife traveling with a 5 year old and a 2 year old get on her hands and knees to pick up the popcorn mess by my youngest daughter,” reads Bass’s tweet. “Are you kidding me?!?!” While the exact reaction Bass was looking for from people isn’t confirmed, it’s safe to say that it may not have been what was expressed by many in the Twitter comments, much of which featured the word “entitled.”
“Genuinely curious who should clean up the mess your 2 year old made?” says one. “As a parent of three kids I am the one responsible to them.”
