The Cowboys coach isn’t worrying about entering a new season without an extension to ensure a sixth year in Dallas.
Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy answered questions from reporters before a training camp practice at The Star in Frisco, Texas, August 29, 2024.
“I get what goes with contracts,’’ McCarthy said. “I really don’t want to speak on it. It doesn’t matter.“The only thing that matters is today. The only thing that truly pays the bills is winning games. That’s where my mind is at right now.“I can’t stand up in front of a group of men and consistently, on a daily basis, demand they focus their time and energy on winning then I’m up here talking about things that have nothing to do with winning.
