The Scientific Editor supports editorial and publication activities, including manuscripts for scientific journals, grant applications, scientific documents, institutional publications, reports, and seminars.When you work at St. Jude, you’ll join a highly collaborative work culture that inspires you every day to be your best.
Provide advice to authors about effective approach, presentation, and publication/submission strategies.Support development and presentation of seminars or other educational opportunities for St. Jude investigators. Participate in meetings of national editorial and related organizations to acquire new information and improve editing skills.
Minimum requirement: 2+ years of experience as a scientific editor or relevant research and publication experience.Experience in experimental design; statistical principles; effective display of scientific data; and publication policies, procedures, and ethics.In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
