Memorial Hermann Sugar is growing to meet the needs of the growing Fort Bend County.

According to a news release, the Sugar Land campus is in line to get a $231 million upgrade. The project includes a build-out of one of the existing towers on the campus at 17500 W. Grand Parkway S.

As part of the expansion, one of the existing towers will add medical/surgical beds, new universal beds and a new neonatal intensive care unit. Also as part of the expansion are planned expansions of emergency department rooms; operating rooms; endoscopy suites; CT and X-ray capabilities; and parking capacity.
