During her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” McCarthy spoke with guest host Martin Short, who was in-character as his persona Jiminy Glick. While the interview was full of comedy bits and jokes, McCarthy did share her experience as an investor in “It’s incredible,” McCarthy said of the musical. “It’s funny, it’s heartbreaking.” McCarthy also discussed meetingwhile working on the show. “She’s one of the producers; she’s an investor in it. She’s really vivacious,” McCarthy said of Clinton.“Only Murders in the Building” follows three strangers obsessed with true crime podcasts who live in the same New York City apartment building and set out to solve murders. The fourth season premieres on Hulu Aug. 27.
