Simu Liu starrer untitled Peacock series has Melissa Barrera joining as a new cast member, alongside many other big names.
The series, which has been described as an action thriller, was announced by Peacock in February 2024. Starring Simu Liu as the main lead, James Wan is also attached to the series., the upcoming action thriller on Peacock is set to have stars from projects like 13 Reasons Why, In the Heights, City on a Hill, and The Affair provide their expertise.
The stars who have bagged a role in the James Wan project are Melissa Barrera as Michelle, Brian d’Arcy James as John Moira, Sinclair Daniel as an intelligence officer, Parker, Kathleen Chalfant as St. George, and Mark O’Brien as an intelligence agent, Cobb. Simu Liu is set to portray the role of Alexander Hale, an American intelligence analyst.
Additionally, Thomas Brandon is leading the writing process of the show and is also the showrunner alongside Jennifer Yale. James Wan and the producer of the hit horror flick I Know What You Did Last Summer, Rob Hackett, are set to be the executive producers.
