(Reuters) - TikTok-owner ByteDance's profit jumped roughly 60% in 2023, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
JOHOR BARU: Malaysia and Singapore will be meeting next month for further discussions on the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone , says state executive councillor Lee Ting Han signed last month.
Lee said among the issues that will be discussed are the QR code clearance system, digitalised cargo clearance, and joint training programmes. Asked whether issues such as the power outage at the Bangunan Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex will also be raised in the meeting with the Prime Minister next Wednesday, Lee said it is unlikely, as the matter has already been resolved at the state government level.
On Wednesday, government spokesman Fahmi Fadzil said federal and Johor officials will meet next week to discuss policies and issues that need to be ironed out to expedite the establishment of the SEZ.
