Next year will mark the 60th anniversary of the Medina County Park District, and it plans to mark this milestone with improvements at parks all across the county, including upgrades at Lake Medina.

Eppink said the park district has received a $1.5 million reimbursable grant and plans to spend roughly $1.2 million on improvements at the park.“We plan to add a small picnic shelter fairly close to the entrance off Granger Road,” Eppink said.
