Police have identified — but not named publicly — two suspects in the shooting.

Saturday has been identified as Herman Richard Purvis, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.Officers found Purvis dead in the hallway of his home in the 4400 block of Hampstead Street on Saturday night.

Purvis had a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene.Two people, a 34-year-old woman and 17-year-old male, at the home were taken into custody immediately and taken to police headquarters for questioning, but no charges have been filed, police confirmed.
