The Burbank Unified School District is asking voters to approve a property tax increase to fund $458.2 million in renovation and repair projects.The Burbank Unified School District serves about 14,000 students across nearly two dozen schools. The district wants money to modernize and renovate classrooms, restrooms and other school facilities; update plumbing and HVAC units; and replace leaky roofs, among other things.
