Tom Holland's Spider-Man 4 is well underway, guarantees Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige. Holland's next chapter as the wall-crawler in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will have the hard task of following the generational event that was Spider-Man: No Way Home, which united Tobey Maguire's and Andrew Garfield's versions of Spider-Man with Holland's.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY During a deep dive interview on the MCU with Entertainment Weekly, Feige revealed the current status of the MCU's Spider-Man 4. According to Feige, Marvel Studios is set on Spider-Man 4's story — not Sam Raimi's — but the continuation of Holland's journey as Peter Parker, which has been reported to be the start of a whole new Spider-Man trilogy for Holland.

While there are currently no plot points or characters revealed for Holland's Spider-Man 4, the movie could decide to forego the inclusion of other MCU heroes, instead focusing on adapting a couple of iconic Spider-Man characters, such as Black Cat or Gwen Stacy. Both characters had been planned for other movie appearances at some point with Sony but were dropped.
The idea of seeing Holland's more mature Spider-Man, who would now be in college, lends itself nicely for a proper adaptation of a smaller — character-focused — storyline than the exorbitant Spider-Man: No Way Home. However, if the rumors about the MCU's Spider-Man 4 are to be believed, the movie could see a team up of Holland's Spidey with Charlie Cox's Daredevil to take down Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin.
