At least two people have died and around 30 more are injured following a massive pileup involving around 100 vehicles in Louisiana, authorities said Monday morning.It happened around Monday morning on Interstate 55, just outside of New Orleans.
Three 18-wheelers were involved in the accident and at least two were fully engulfed in flames, authorities said.Sheriff Mike Tregre told sister station WDSU that at least two people have died, around 30 people are injured and 100 cars were involved in the crash. The roads are shut down as crews work to clear the debris, and help those wounded or injured.
