Maryland authorities accuse Candace Craig, 44, of killing her mother and that her daughter, Salia Hardy, 19, helped her try to dispose of the body by cutting it up and burning it.
LANDOVER, Maryland — A woman is facing murder charges after she was accused of killing her mother, then attempting to get rid of her remains by incinerating them on a grill, police say.according to a news release
from the Prince George’s County Police Department. Craig’s daughter, Salia Hardy, 19, also was jailed, charged with accessory after the fact, police say. Officers were called to the home of Margaret Craig, 71, on Friday to conduct a welfare check, police say. The caller said they had not heard from the elder Craig for several days and had grown concerned.
