Avid MCU fans can now collect their very own Infinity Stones, as Marvel has partnered with East Continental Gems to turn real-life gemstones into the famed cosmic objects.
In a fitting bit of merchandising, Marvel is releasing real-life Infinity Stones cut out from actual gems. For the entirety of the Infinity Saga, the Stones were at the center of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's long-running story involving the Mad Titan Thanos and his plan to wipe out half of all life courtesy of the mystical objects.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY There are six Infinity Stones in total, all representing their own specialty: Space, Reality, Power, Mind, Time, and Soul. They exist, as described by the Collector in Guardians of the Galaxy, as the remnants of six singularities that existed before the Big Bang. These were then compressed into Stones by cosmic entities. Then, as the universe began to expand, they were dispersed throughout the cosmos.
Inspired by the gemstones from the comic books, the Infinity Collection comprises six gems from a magical world where the most extraordinary wonders and elements come together to bring unparalleled beauty. East Continental Gems, purveyors of some of nature’s most precious stones, have unearthed otherworldly jewels deep within our planet’s core to bring Marvel’s Infinity Stones to life.
Marvel's Real-Life Infinity Stones Are a Must-Have for Collectors Over the years, the MCU has produced numerous exciting pieces of merchandise, ranging from the typical Funko Pop figures to life-size replicas of items like Captain America's shield. Considering the Infinity Stones' importance within the MCU, it isn't surprising that Marvel would now find a unique and impressive way to bring the powerful objects to life.
By partnering with a jeweler to make actual Infinity gems, Marvel has set a new benchmark in the franchise world when it comes to merchandise. This impressive venture sure to lure longtime Marvel fans and precious gem admirers alike, appeasing not just its regular comic or movie fans but also art collectors. With even more Infinity Stone replicas on the way, Marvel fans will forever be reminded of the MCU's first major story arc.
