Money-saving expert Martin Lewis has issued an urgent tip to help billpayers save money on looming water bill hikes after one woman saved £400.
Despite this, there are ways you could save a hefty amount of cash by fitting a water meter, according to Martin. Appearing on his ITV show, a viewer revealed to Martin that she saved £400 a year on her bill after having a water meter installed as part of a two-year trial.Debra said: "Took your advice on water bills. Last year we paid £717.00 so we opted for the two year trial to have a meter. Chuffed to bits with our first bill of £121, with an average saving of £400.
