A U.S. Marine is in custody on suspicion of being involved in the death of a fellow Marine who was killed at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina on Wednesday night, according to law enforcement authorities at the base.
The Marine was arrested at about 10:15 p.m. Wednesday after the killing, which had taken place in a barracks room on the base earlier in the evening, reports The Washington Examiner.
The death came two days before the base was to conduct its annual Exercise Urgent Response, the training that focuses on emergency security procedures.
