For the film’s send-off at the 2024 Oscars, the actor and producer decided to give the doll a proper funeral—Barbie style. She managed to coordinate with her Barbie costar and Best Supporting Actress nominee America Ferrera, who wore a pink chainmail dress from the Italian brand.
Over the course of movie promo, the actor has indulged fans with a surplus of method dressing, from a Chanel skirt suit to a chainmail mini dress and ostrich feather pajamas—all pink, of course. She’s even channelled specific Barbies, including “Enchanted Evening” Barbie, “Day to Night” Barbie, “Black Magic” Barbie, “Earring Magic” Barbie, and “Solo in the Spotlight” Barbie.
