The first evacuation order was in the Parker Mesa neighborhood, just west of the Getty Villa museum. Expansions of the zone at 1 p.m. and again around 2 p.m. brought it to more than 25 square miles, extending to the edge of Santa Monica and Los Angeles’ Brentwood neighborhood.
