, and a fresh music video to accompany one of its tracks, “Save a Little For Yourself.”
“Sometimes writing a song feels like giving myself the advice I know I need the most and it’s often the hardest to heed,” the pop singer said in a statement. “It makes the song almost a mantra of sorts — something I know I’ll continue learning because it bears repeating. ‘Save a Little for Yourself’ is sort of the other half of a love song that we don’t always talk about or acknowledge.
As for the album, arriving March 6, its title comes from the final track, which happens to be the last song she wrote for the album. “Reaching for golden ribbons up in the air/But I’m looking for silver landings,” the lyrics to this titular song read.04. “Tryin’ My Best Los Angeles”08.
On top of the music itself, Moore announced she’s taking the album on tour in 2020, beginning on March 20 at the Bendeum Center in Pittsburgh. This North American jaunt will finish at the Gothic Theatre in Denver on May 9.
