Manchester City are through to the fifth round of the FA Cup. Arsenal are not.
Date published: Friday 27th January 2023 9:59 -Nathan Ake’s second-half strike saw Manchester City beat Premier League title rivals Arsenal 1-0 in the FA Cup fourth round.
Nathan Ake came in for Aymeric Laporte but Joao Cancelo, Kyle Walker and Bernardo Silva were all among the substitutes for a third game running while Phil Foden remained out through injury. There was a first start for recent signing Leandro Trossard while Matt Turner, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Rob Holding, and Fabio Vieira came in for Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White, William Saliba, Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli – all named among the substitutes.
